In the island of Lanzarote (Canary Islands) a house is for sale, which, without wishing to boast, is one of the two or three most beautiful houses on the island. It can be compared, for example, with the house of the island's artist, César Manrique, built largely underground. In fact, César Manrique and Luis Ibáñez were friends for years, with many ideas and projects in common. The artist and architect Luis Ibáñez came from the north of Spain to Lanzarote 35 years ago. About thirty years ago he found an old ruined farmhouse in Tías, which he converted into an impressive, noble dwelling.
