Casa Ibáñez is situated in Tías, on a mountain above Puerto del Carmen, a famous tourist spot. From the farmhouse one can see the sea and the incomparable volcanic landscape of the island. Further construction in front of the house is forbidden. Tias is well positioned, as it lies on the main road that connects Arrecife, the capital of Lanzarote, with the dream-like beaches in the south of the island (Papagayo beach). The international airport is just ten minutes from the house by car, and the trip to "Las Fariones" beach, or the very pretty beach "Los Pocillos" takes only five minutes since these beaches are directly to the south of the house. It takes roughly the same time to get to Montaña del Fuego or La Geria, with its unique, extraordinary landscape. Tías is situated
in the centre of the island and, thanks to its excellent situation,
it is the ideal starting point from which to go shopping in Arrecife
or to go on trips around the island. Tías also has several
supermarkets, so it is possible to cover the daily necessities without
leaving the village. |
